Where can I get software updates for my PMX-HD14?

IMPORTANT Attach motorcycle to Charger or Battery Tender before proceeding!

FORMAT USB DRIVE

Please ensure your USB drive is formated to FAT16 or FAT32. The PMX radio does not support NTSF or exFAT.

Insert Flash Drive into USB (32 GB max) Click Start select Computer (on Windows 10, click File Folder) Right click Flash drive Click Format Click the File System list box and select FAT32 Click Start to format the drive	Insert Flash Drive into USB Search for Disk Utility and open application Select Flash Drive and click Erase Select MS-DOS (FAT) Confirm Erase to format the drive

 

CHECK SOFTWARE VERSION

1. On the HOME SCREEN, press the SETTINGS (sliders) icon.
   
    
2. Once the AUDIO SETTINGS menu displays, press the SYSTEM SETTINGS (gear) icon.
   
    
3. Once the SYSTEM SETTINGS menu displays, scroll down and press SOFTWARE INFORMATION .
   
    
4. The Menu will display current SOFTWARE VERSION

   APP	Application	Independent software for upgrade.
   SDK	Software Development Kit	Integrated software base-code for APP.
   MCU	Microcontroller Unit	Independent software file.
   ATMELXCFG	Atmel Touch Screen	Integrated Atmel touch screen sensor IC software for APP.

SOFTWARE UPGRADE

1. Insert USB into the USB INPUT connector:
   
2. Press YES when the "Updated Data" prompt appears:
   
3. Press ALL UPDATE when the prompt appears:
   
4. The software will begin the upgrade process:
   DO NOT TURN OFF POWER DURING UPGRADE PROCESS.
   
5. The source unit may reboot several times to finish installing each software file:
   
6. The "Upgrade Sucess" prompt will appear, then will reboot to complete the process:
   
7. Press OK when the "Update Has Been Completed" prompt appears:
