How to program a PAC TR7 Module.
How to program the PAC AUDIO TR7 for turn on delay for Harley “double heartbeat” turn on “fix”:
- Flip the switch on the TR7 to program mode “on”
- Power the red wire with 12v constant (or switched ignition) and the black wire to ground.
- Pulse the brown wire to GROUND 12 times, the LED light inside the TR7 will blink each time the wire is pulsed, wait 3 seconds and the led will flash 12 times as a confirmation you are in feature option 12.
- Pulse the brown wire to GROUND 1 time and wait for 2 seconds and will flash the LED once.
- Pulse the brown wire to GROUND 2 times and wait for 2 seconds and will flash the LED twice.
- Pulse the brown wire to GROUND 2 times and wait for 2 seconds and will flash the LED twice.
- PLEASE READ STEP 8 CAREFULLY AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE ATTEMPTING
- Pulse the brown wire 1 time to GROUND and the led will flicker fast once, wait for 3 seconds and it will flicker fast twice, wait for 3 seconds and it will flicker fast 3 times, pulse the brown wire to GROUND 9 times and it will flash the LED 9 times as a confirmation, wait for 3 seconds and it will flicker fast 4 times.
- Repeat step 8 two more times only after the 3rd LED flicker do not pulse the brown wire to ground 9 times and just let it continue to flicker fast the 4th time.
- The LED will flicker fast for 3 seconds.
- Flip the switch on the TR7 to program mode “off”
- Remove the red wire from 12v constant (or switched ignition)
- Power the red wire with switched ignition as well as the green wire.
- The blue wire will be connected to the REM location of the amp’s power plug.
- Test functionality, the amp should turn on 9 seconds after the bikes ignition is turned on and should no longer cause the “double heartbeat”
- At any point you lose track, restart at step 2.
Only the RED, BLACK, GREEN, and BLUE wires will be used for the permanent install.
THE ORANGE AND WHITE WILL NOT BE USED! (Tape them up to ensure nothing touched the wires)
