Smaller "Punch V2" speakers utilize a newer "Twist-Lock" FLWR (Factory Location Woofer Ring) that facilitates installation in tight OEM locations.

MOUNTING DEPTH
There are three (4) different "Mounting Depth" dimensions available in the owner's manual and the product details page "Specifications" tab. Smaller speakers with a "Twist-Lock" mounting ring have a Front & Rear Mounting Depth, whereas larger speakers with a traditional mounting ring have a standard Mounting Depth, but illustrate the depth with and without the detachable motor cover.
- Rear-Loading Depth: This is the mounting depth of the speaker assembly when inserting the speaker from the rear (underneath) the Twist-Lock.
- Front-Loading Depth: This is the mounting depth of the speaker assembly when inserting the speaker from the front (above) the Twist-Lock.
- Mounting Depth (with motor cover): This is the mounting depth of a traditional speaker with the motor cover installed.
- Mounting Depth (no motor cover): This is the mounting depth of a traditional speaker without the motor cover.
INSTALLATION
Speakers using the Twist-Lock (FLWR) ring can be loaded from the rear or the front, but have different mounting depth values based on the orientation of the ring.

REMOVAL
Simply rotate the speaker counter-clockwise to overcome detent and unlock the speaker from the Twist-Lock (FLWR) ring. NOTE: P1V2-3, P1V2-4, P1V2-5 models require a small, flat head screwdriver to carefully pry out all the lock tabs (shown below), then twisted counter-clockwise for removal.
