Infrasonic Filter Recommended
Rockford Fosgate recommends using an Infrasonic Filter when using the T1 Slim subwoofers in vented (ported) enclosures.  This will benefit the subwoofer by not needing to reproduce low frequency bass harmonics as they are hardly detectable with normal human hearing and contribute unnecessary woofer excursion. As a benefit, many Rockford Fosgate mono amplifiers feature a built-in 28Hz Infrasonic Filter (High-Pass,) a perfect match for most all vented enclosures.
