Proper remote level when tuning 3Sixty.3

Should I turn the remote control to a certain setting during any of the setup procedure? During the 3Sixty.3 setup procedure, the level should default to maximum for sub level and minimum for Punch EQ. The levels can be adjusted in the Virtual Remote Console within the software UI (User Interface).
