Steering wheel adjustment is off after installing Can-Am front speaker enclosures.
Can-Am Maverick X3 Power Steering Torque Offset Reset
This process must be done upon completion of the Rockford Fosgate installation kit if the vehicle exhibits a steering issue. We are recalibrating the steering with the speaker in place so that the system is aware of the magnet and does not interfere with its function. This process must be done by a Can-Am dealer that has the BUDS2 programmer. Many dealers do this as part of service as the power steering on this car is sensitive, so vehicles that don’t have an audio system installed can still benefit from this reset.
This is a very rare occurence and we are providing this documentation as a reference for the calibration procedure if it is necessary.

Step 1: Locate the programming connector. Model year 2019 it will be under the center panel with the brake reservoir. Model year 2017-2018 it will be inside the glove box top left side. Plug BUDS2 cable into connector. This is needs to be done after the installation of the Rockford System is complete and all put back together. |
